  1. X-men #8: My head canon is now that Unus was actually given the name Eunice, but started spelling it differently when he got teased by kids on the playground. Showing that he’s a big-time genius. Yup.

Iceman actually turning into ice was a revelation. I bet we’ll see that changes soon, but I also always thought it was an ice-coating. I think the Marvel Super-Heroes RPG books back that up. But I like that he’s finally getting his classic icy look. It’s cool! (Get it? “Cool”? … sigh)

Xavier spelunking in a wheelchair. That can’t be safe, can it? He just couldn’t wait for his Awesome 90s Action Chair™!

Oh! You speculated this was the first mutant-hating mob. But there was the Toad competing in a track and field event, and the X-Men rescued him from a mob then. So I think that was first. It also does seem like the public doesn’t know the X-Men are mutants, but does consider them a hero team. Wonder how long till that changes.

Thor #110: So Loki’s whole plan to keep Thor from punching him was basically, “I’m not touching you!” Gah, does being a jerk count as mischief, cuz if so, Loki is on point. And now boosting the powers of super-villains. Has he given a normal human super-powers?

Tales to Astonish #62: You know what I do when some guy steals my clothes, and I take them back? I wash them. Right away. I do not put them on. Looking at you, Hank. Ew.

“The Follower.” LOL! Thanks for that!

Did you catch Rick calling Betty “Miss Brant” on page 3 of the story? Whoops! I don’t think you can have too many Bettys, so it’s ok. And I am enjoying Ditko on the Hulk. It’s pretty great!

Until Hyde and Cobra up their game by taking on Daredevil, make mine Make Ours Marvel!
