  1. Hey guys, still enjoying the show and like last time, here are a few thoughts I had while listening.

Tales To Astonish #27- DAVE! :). Also, I had spent years trying to forget that french class joke from “Honey, I Shrunk The Kids” and now you put it back in my head. Thanks a lot.

Fantastic Four #3- Miracle Mister Mystery Man…..who cares? Good cover though.

Fantastic Four #4- I think Sue would know who Namor was. Remember, this came out in 1962 and Johnny was 16. So at this time he would be born in 1946. Sue has to be at least 20, which means she was born in 1942 or earlier. Namor’s comic was still published until 1949, so he must have been around in their world until then. That means Sue would have seen newsreels and articles about him until she was 7. Completely believable she would remember him.

As for comics in the Marvel Universe, they did a 5th week event featuring them. (http://marvel.wikia.com/wiki/Marvels_Comics_Group_Vol_1) There were six one shots showing the in-universe versions of Fantastic Four, Captain America, Daredevil, Spider-Man, Thor and the X-Men. I’m pretty sure the penciller for Captain America was listed as “Steve Rogers’. Just to be complete, DC also showed a in-universe comic version of Batman in Detective Comics #622-625.
