  1. Fantastic Four King Size #5: Psycho-Man. If you’re subatomic, and you live on an atom, what are you made of? And when you grow into our world, are you suddenly made of atoms, or really really big versions of not-atoms? Either way, I think the answer to “why did he want to conquer our world” is simple. Not-atoms can’t make pizza, and anyone would kill for pizza. Right?

Strange Tales #162: So now Nick has a transparent car. It’s cool, but is it actually practical? I mean, he has to buy special transparent oil, gas, anti-freeze, and who knows what else since I don’t know cars. And the best part: you can make the car visible! Oh, Gaffer.

Dr Strange versus Mordo and Nebulos and Living Tribunal. You guys nailed it, this story just keeps escalating. And seriously, Strange is the one escalating it. Would it have been better if he’d just left things alone? Oh, and where’s Clea? Again? I’m so confused.

Thor #145: No powers, guess I’ll run off and join the circus. So Thor’s basically acting like any kid mad at his father. Yes!

And wow, take that cover image of Thor, lose the shirt, make his jeans into cutoffs, and it’s Kamandi! That’s all I’m seeing now!

Amazing Spider-Man King Size #4: Versus the Human Torch again. Lured to a movie again. Are all movie companies fronts for supervillains? Just like the only circus in the Marvel universe is “of Crime”.

I’m rewatching Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends, and one of the first episodes had the team lured to a movie set, Mysterio running everything behind the scenes, and his big plan was to have his Hulk robot kill Spidey, but the whole thing got foiled by the real Hulk. So it’s a combination of this story and the Green Goblin/Enforcers/Hulk story. If only this issue had introduced Firestar. Sigh…

    Sigh…

Oh sorry, drifted off for a minute there.

Another fun time, Spider-Friends. Until next time, or until Thor loses his powers and moves in with the Enchantress*, make mine Make Ours Marvel.
    * Started in Thor #491, the Worldengine storyline. I’m sure the show will get there soon. Yes, I’m bad at math, why do you ask?
