I keep thinking that the Hulk TV series came before Spider-Man, so I was quite surprised to see it was the opposite. But after Hulk and before Captain America, there’s one other TV movie: Doctor Strange. Wait, if this was MCU, with Spidey, Hulk, and Dr Strange, would they be building to The Defenders?
Another MCU-like bit I hoped for back in the day was for Jack McGee to work for the Daily Bugle, and have him show up on Spider-Man from time to time, or have to call in from the road and have Peter answer the phone. Considering the kind of paper McGee worked for, it could have been the Bugle easily. Ah well.
That haunting piano for the credits still gives me chills. Wow.
