  1. Hey guys. So I have made notes when I listen to the show to comment. However I have been lazy and am writing them all now right before you are supposed to record your second Mailbag Episode. I’m hoping you remember the context, because I don’t!

Journey Into Mystery #89- So I think it’s ok for a woman to chose to be a stay at home wife/mother. But if you are going to show that choice it would be good to also show someone closing to not do that. At this point in time it was just assumed that’s what they would do.

Thor is praying to Odin for help here again. Odin was real nice in these early issues. Maybe that’s why they start to make him into a dick. So it takes the easy option off the table.

Fantastic Four #12- As for who hates who more, I think Ben hates the Hulk more than the Hulk hates him. If you have ever read the “Countdown” story during the Peter David run of Hulk it has a great bit about the two of them having a drink and talking about just that.

The Great Lakes Avengers member you were trying to think of was Flatman.

As for your talk about why the Toad Men skipped over Reed. In my head cannon they didn’t. They went for him first but then saw the Torch and Thing with him and decided it would be easier to go for their second choice. If only they had checked Banner out just a bit longer!!

After this issue, I think we can agree that the real spy located in General Ross’s HR department. Who keeps vetting these guys??
