I’ve watched this movie once before, so I gave it another try. Sorry, I’m just a philistine, because I alternated between being bored by the scenes and dialog, and annoyed with the comic panel pastiche. Bixby’s TV movie held my attention better. One bit I still find cool is the Hulk climbing on the outside of the fighter jet as it soars straight up.
And then there’s Betty. I thought Jane Foster didn’t have enough to do in the Thor movies, but Natalie Portman’s gotta be glad she wasn’t in this one! By coincidence, I just watched Connelly in Labyrinth this year. That movie is excellent! Plus one of my daughters watched it with me and loved it, so that’s a win!
Wait, where was I? Oh yeah, Hulk. Let’s, uh, move on. But thanks for the great show and keeping it fun, gang!
