  1. I’ve seen Far From Home twice, once with my daughters, and I was glad they both left raving about the movie. The teenaged characters and their portrayal rang very true to my girls, making for a lot of the fun.

Flash being a jerk, but getting a hint why he’s a jerk and sympathizing at the end, and his believable fanboy attitude to Spider-Man.

Ned and Betty were almost the cutest couple ever.

Peter and MJ WERE the cutest couple ever! Your analysis of MJ and how she relates to the comic book version was spot on!

Happy Hogan isn’t the only person in love with Aunt Tomay. Sigh.

I did realize a big difference between Homecoming and Far From Home. In Homecoming, Peter is anxious to get a mission and be an Avenger, because he’s gotten a taste of it from Civil War and really wants to impress Tony. In Far From Home, Peter wants to step back a little and have some normal life experiences. Definitely because Tony died and he feels survivor’s guilt, but also because Peter was Thanos-snapped and really experienced dying, but brought back in the blip, giving him a second chance that he doesn’t want to waste. So we have a real constrast: wanting to be an Avenger but staying Friendly Neighborhood, now “does anyone have questions about the Neighborhood” and being Nick Fury-ed.

Showing as always, Spider-Man’s greatest antagonist is himself.

Loved the podcast, guys! Keep on Making Ours MCU!
