Fantastic Four #14-
Regarding the Puppet Master raising Alicia. I can see him treating her as if she was a complete invalid her whole life because of her blindness. Not because he is evil but that’s just what he believes. Considering his age and this takes place in the 1960’s it is probably something he grew up believing. It makes me think of the scene in A Christmas Story when Ralphie imagines he will go blind because of eating soap and how his only option in life will be to beg for change.
Michael mentioned the How to Draw Comics the Marvel Way book. I never had it but my best friend growing up had the video version of it (hosted by Stan and John Buscemea). We watched it a LOT. Anyway, Mike you are forgetting the last part of that rule you mentioned. “Don’t show their backs on the covers….unless you are Jack Kirby!”
In case no one mentioned this already, the movie Mike is trying to think of was High Fidelity.
