Well, this was a trip! It was great to hear Sara talk about this film, her affection is fairly contagious. And it was great that you guys had fun with it. I actually did see it a few years ago when I first got Netflix’s streaming, and of course I’d heard about it for ages. And … I’m still not sure what the hell was going on! However, your show did help a little bit. Will I try it again sometime? Ehhhhh, dunno. But I’m more inclined than now than before, so maybe.
I also have watched Heavy Metal the movie more times than I should admit, cuz it’s … not a good movie. I guess it did for me what Barbarella did for Sara. (Have I said too much? I’ve said too much. Shutting up now.)
Oh since you asked, here’s what I’ve been watching lately! (I know you didn’t ask, this is how I roll.) I went on a minor binge of various MCU movies, finishing with Infinity War and End Game. That was pretty fun, and the highlight is, I never get tired of the Ant-Man movies.
Also, my daughter is big into Steven Universe, which I watched with her and love it a lot myself. We were waiting for the new season, Steven Universe Future, to come to our cord-cutting services, but finally broke down and bought it from Amazon. She binged it in one night, but I’m old so I spread it out more. OMG, the feelings! Love love love!
1979 Cap movies? Wow, I haven’t watched those since they first aired! Looking forward to that! Till next time!
