I’m with you, Jon. I really like this movie, but listening to the discussion, now I have tons of little problems with it! Yikes! A rewatch is overdue, but betting I’ll still enjoy it.
While watching the trailer, did anybody else think of X-Men #150, where Magneto sinks that Russian nuclear sub? People need to learn, keep your subs away from the magnetic metal manipulator.
Beast is one I’m torn on. Yes, I personally identify with him being smart, nervous, and shy. But I like “the Bombastic Beast” from the Avengers comics a lot! Since this isn’t the Avengers, I’m ok with the younger version, but yes, he should’ve used bigger words.
Only a couple of X-Men movies left! Until the Beast changes his genetics to cash in on Grumpy Cat’s fame, make mine Make Ours Marvel!
